Connecting for Sustainable Mobility
Students from 12 European countries collect kilometres, form teams, and compete in Ljubljana on June 10, 2027 — part of the Maraton Franja BTC City.
CYCLE2CONNECT is the first European student cycling challenge that brings together sport, sustainability, and digital tools. Students form teams, track their cycled kilometres via a mobile app, and participate in workshops on sustainable mobility.
Designed by Cycling Team ROG with the support of the City of Ljubljana and EUSA. Runs from March 1, 2026 to August 30, 2027.

The European Student Cycling Challenge takes place in the centre of Ljubljana as part of Maraton Franja BTC City — the largest recreational cycling event in Slovenia.
Top participants from all 12 countries qualify for the final team ride using the BicikeLJ city bike system.
